WATCH: Derry girl Jenny Baird enters Big Brother house

Big Brother returned tonight with a new set of housemates taking their place during the live launch.

Among the twelve housemates to enter the house was Derry girl Jenny Baird.

20-year-old make-up artist Jenny, from the Brandywell area of the city, said: “I’ve been watching Big Brother for years, and I think it’s just a once in a lifetime opportunity.

“I had the opportunity to apply, and I just thought, ‘this could be a lot of fun’. And here I am!

“I think I will bring a lot of craic to the house. I think I will try my best to make everybody laugh and just be positive.”

Big Brother continues on Monday at 9.00pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
