Wexford GAA having no championship games on the same weekend as Electric Picnic was “the most ludicrous decision I’ve ever seen or heard of”, according to former Model hurling forward Paul Carley.

Carley, who took charge of his native Glynn Barntown this year, slammed the unprecedented decision which Model chiefs made to “give up a free weekend to go to a festival” at the end of August.
