Josh Hartnett was a passenger in an SUV that collided with a Canadian police car last week, prompting the actor’s hospitalization, People reported.

A Royal Newfoundland Constabulary patrol vehicle reportedly struck Hartnett’s ride in St. John’s during the wee hours on Thursday, according to CBC News. The collision caused “significant damage” to both vehicles, the RNC said.

The 47-year-old “Black Hawk Down” star, who recently appeared on the hit series “The Bear,” was taken to a local hospital and later released. He got the OK to return to work, a rep told Deadline, and the filming schedule was not interrupted.

The driver, 59, also had “minor injuries” and the male officer in the police vehicle was sent to the hospital as a precaution, police said in the release. The RNC asked for help with information about the crash.

“Me promoting my film before ghosting social media for another 10 years,” he wrote.
