Gardai are growing increasingly concerned for the well-being of a woman in her late 30s who has been missing since last weekend.

37-year-old Katarzyna Stachowiak was officially reported missing from Co Kerry yesterday, Wednesday October 8, and Gardai have now issued an appeal to the public for help in tracing her whereabouts.

Katarzyna was last seen in Killarney in Kerry on Saturday, October 4, with the last sighting reported at approximately 2.45pm.

The missing woman is described as being approximately five foot five inches in height and she has a slim build. Katarzyna has black hair and blue eyes.

When she was last seen, it’s believed that Katarzyna was wearing thick framed glasses, black leggings, a black hoodie, a knee-length black jacket and black Puma runners.

Gardai have now issued an appeal for information in the hope of locating Katarzyna as soon as possible.

A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana told The Irish Mirror: “Katarzyna’s family and Gardaí are concerned for her wellbeing.

“Anyone with any information on Katarzyna’s whereabouts is asked to contact Killarney Garda Station on (064) 6671160, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.”
