More than a third of Irish employees have actively sought out private information about a colleague, client or customer including their salary, home address or age from a work computer system in the last year.

As many as 30pc of employees say they have tried to access a colleague’s device without authorisation in the last year, according to a survey of more than a 1,000 workers.
