Aaron Fitzgerald has big hands and maybe it’s just as well, because he had some heavy lifting to do in Zimmer Biomet Páirc Cíosóg.
As Éire Óg’s football skipper, the 34-year-old full-back had the honour of lifting the Jack Daly Cup after the Ennis town outfit defended their crown following an event-filled county final that was far more fraught than the seven-point margin might suggest.
