Angel, a media and technology company driven by 1.5 million grassroots Angel Guild members championing values-based stories, and Wonder Project, an entertainment brand that produces and curates premium films and series for the faith and values audience, have revealed the teaser for their feature film collaboration, Young Washington.

The film traces the early life of America’s first president. It will debut in theaters nationwide during Independence Day Weekend 2026, honoring the nation’s 250th year since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Young Washington chronicles the origins of America’s first president. After making a mistake that triggers the French and Indian War, an ambitious 22-year-old George Washington must face his failures and find the courage to become the leader who will forge a nation.

Young Washington stars William Franklyn-Miller (Dongji Rescue, Medici), Mary-Louise Parker (The Institute, Weeds), Kelsey Grammer (Frasier, Cheers), Andy Serkis (The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, Planet of the Apes), and Sir Ben Kingsley (Wonder Man, Gandhi, Schindler’s List).

The film is directed by Jon Erwin (House of David, American Underdog) and is written by Erwin, Tom Provost (Under Suspicion), and Diederik van Hoogstraten.

The movie has not yet been rated by the Motion Picture Association (MPA).
