1. Nicolette, Krista and Jane make a discovery

Neighbours fans see Nicolette Stone left shocked next week as she discovers Addison Rutherford’s link to a dangerous figure from Ramsay Street’s past. Nicolette reaches her realisation after doing some digging into Addison’s family history – and she doesn’t like what she sees.

Nicolette takes action to protect her loved ones after her mum Jane Harris decides that it’s a good idea to give Addison a place to stay. First introduced when she was snooping around Erinsborough High and Eirini Rising recently, Addison starts to befriend some Ramsay Street favourites in the coming days.

As Addison is complaining that it’s too difficult to study in her current foster home, Jane insists on offering her some respite by letting her sleep over at No.24.

“Nicolette isn’t convinced that Addison can be trusted – mainly because they’ve just had a petty argument at the café,” our Neighbours source explains. “She sets straight to work on doing some internet sleuthing to find out exactly who Addison is.

“Krista Tanaka joins her and is shocked to discover that Addison’s mum is Shannon Rutherford – the drug dealer who was involved in Abby being hospitalised last year.”

Nicolette takes this as more proof that Addison doesn’t deserve a warm welcome in the Harris/Stone family home. Jane and Paul Robinson both argue otherwise, pointing out that Addison can’t be blamed for her mum’s bad behaviour.

“Addison’s devastated when she overhears Nicolette’s harsh words,” our insider adds. “She decides to leave rather than stick around to face such hasty judgement.

“Nicolette soon backtracks, realising that she hasn’t handled this situation well at all. But it’s too late as Addison is offered a new foster care solution and is determined to take it…”
