Internet connectivity has been restored following a systemwide outage at WVU’s Morgantown and regional campuses, according to an outage alert sent to students’ mix emails Thursday.
The outage affected wireless and wired networks, according to the email.
WVU ITS is investigating the cause of the outage, which has not yet been determined. No future outages are anticipated, according to Vickie Smith, executive director of the CIO WVU Information Technology Services.
