As rumors continue to swirl that Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise have called it quits, one thing is for sure: The pair have been spending time apart — and insiders tell the National Enquirer the hottie’s testing the Top Gun hunk’s patience as he frets about their future together.
Sources say the 37-year-old Cuban-born beauty didn’t seem to be missing the Mission: Impossible hero, 63, when she shared a video of her dancing and singing with friends at Bad Bunny’s concert in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in early September.
A few weeks later, she hit up a gym in L.A. — solo — for a sweaty workout, per Daily Mail, which also reported on October 15 that the pair have gone their separate ways.
“Ana’s been having the time of her life,” says an insider. “She went to Puerto Rico with a group of her friends to see Bad Bunny and she’s been back in L.A. and very social.”

“It’s clear she’s enjoying her independence. Not having Tom around micromanaging everything has got to feel very freeing. Her friends have all noticed how happy she looks lately, and so has Tom.”
Their romance triggered worldwide attention after they were seen grabbing dinner on Valentine’s Day, followed by multiple trips in Europe aboard his helicopter.
In July, they were spotted holding hands during a stroll in Woodstock, Vt., where Ana owns a farm.
“Their big movie together has been pushed back indefinitely,” says the insider. “A lot of people are predicting that this could be the death knell for them.”

Tom’s underwater thriller, Deep, starring Ana as the leading lady, reportedly ran into issues with Warner Bros. execs, who balked at the $275 million budget — only agreeing to $230 million, according to Screenrant.

Now Tom and his team are said to be shopping the Doug Liman–directed film to other studios.
The pause has allowed Ana some breathing room and she’s enjoying every minute of it.
Adds the insider, “Tom’s still crazy about her, but he’s also very cautious when it comes to his heart and there is a sense that she’s slipping through his fingers.”
