Criminal Assets Bureau seize two houses in Limerick City

THE CRIMINAL Assets Bureau (CAB) have seized two properties in Limerick city, as part of a case against a Limerick criminal.

This follows on from High Court orders granted to CAB and the operation took place yesterday (October 16, 2025) and two houses were seized.

It’s part of the case CAB has against Kieran Keane Junior, the son of Kieran Keane, who was killed on January 29, 2003, after himself and Owen Treacy were abducted by members of the McCarthy Dundon crime gang.

The houses seized were in The Path, Garryowen and Sarsfield Court.

The High Court found that these properties were the proceeds of crime, they have been seized by the State and will be sold at auction.
