You’ve noticed, of course, the none-too-subtle change? Heather Humphreys has gone from offering herself as “A President for All” to being a candidate controlled – her campaign now aggressively managed by party political heavyweights.

From having no political affiliation or badging on her posters on a cuddly-soft launch, she is now announced by Tánaiste Simon Harris as the Fine Gael candidate, and, by coalition extension, the candidate of Middle Ireland as well.
