Ending Allianz sponsorship over genocide is the correct thing to do

Over a month ago, a group of over 800 former county players signed a letter requesting that the GAA end it’s long standing relationship with Allianz. The reason for this is Allianz’s association with the Israeli war machine and the fact that Allianz is a major investor in companies like Elbit Systems, who manufacture drones for the Israeli military.
They also invest heavily in Israeli war bonds through Pimco. In simple terms, the genocide in Gaza and the destruction of the enclave is good for business from an Allianz point of view.
