MASON CITY, Iowa — 43 North Iowa is inviting the community to a celebration for the completion of its new Residential Care Facility for Persons with Mental Illness at the former Globe Gazette building this Thursday.
The event will kick off with a parade at 3 p.m., starting from the current facility and moving along First Street and North Adams to the new location at 300 North Washington Avenue. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will follow at 4 p.m., featuring remarks from Executive Director John Derryberry and community partners.
Guests can explore the facility during an open house from 4 to 7 p.m.
43 North Iowa says this development marks a significant step in its mission to expand mental health care, housing, and employment services through community collaboration.
Community members, partners, and media are being encouraged to attend and see how this transformation strengthens North Iowa’s commitment to inclusive, person-centered care.
