Samsung has just announced the Galaxy XR headset, and fans who have been waiting for this moment can finally order the device. Well, almost. Availability is very limited.

You can order the Galaxy XR headset today, but only in two markets, Korea and the USA. Samsung hasn’t revealed any other availability details.

This is rather unfortunate given the hype that preceded the launch of the Galaxy XR headset. And to top it all off, Apple managed to release the Vision Pro headset in a dozen markets.

Samsung appears to have gotten the price right, or at least that’s what it looks like at the moment. The Galaxy XR headset costs “only” $1,799 — much less than the Vision Pro.

However, this limited release to Korea and the USA may prevent the Galaxy XR from becoming an immediate hit. We will let you know if Samsung has any launch plans for other markets.

For now, if you’re ordering the Galaxy XR headset in the USA after pre-registering, you will receive a $100 discount. You can also order accessories for 30% off.
