With Halloween right around the corner, Amazon’s latest batch of limited-time movie and TV deals is filled with horror 4K Blu-rays as well as cheap Blu-ray and DVD box sets. Amazon’s sale is especially good for fans of long-running franchises. There’s no shortage of cheap box sets for blockbuster horror series, including A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Halloween, Saw, and Chucky. You’ll also find all-time classics from legendary directors such as Alfred Hitchcock and Stanley Kubrick. And if you love Stephen King, you’ll be happy to find a sprawling selection of movies and TV shows based on his horror novels and stories in the promotion. We’ve rounded up the best horror Blu-ray, 4K Blu-ray, and DVD box set deals available now at Amazon.

We split the list of deals into several alphabetized sections to make it easier to read. The first part focuses on 1080p Blu-ray box sets, which is typically the most popular format for franchise collections these days. The 4K Blu-ray box set list is the shortest one here, but there are still notable deals on Hitchcock collections, the latest Halloween trilogy, the Stanley Kubrick 3-Film Collection and The Ring Collection for the lowest prices we’ve seen, and more. The 4K Blu-ray section has a second list focused on Limited Edition Steelbooks, as there are some really awesome discounts right now. Fans of Stephen King will find a few box sets on Blu-ray list, including an 8-Film Blu-ray Collection, but you’ll find even more in our dedicated list of King adaptation deals. At the bottom, there’s a long list of DVD box sets, some of which are only $5.

If you’d rather scroll through a roundup of cover art instead of bullet points, we created custom Amazon store pages for each category:

You can also get 15 Hitchcock films on Blu-ray for only $49.49 and 30 classic monster movies made by Universal Pictures for $58.

There are some TV box set discounts on this list, including all three seasons of Chucky for $13 or less each. Heads up, though: A pretty nice Chucky Complete Series Steelbook released last month and is discounted to $56. A few of Blu-ray collections below are preorders. Most notably, Creepshow: Complete Series is discounted to $52 (was $100) and the Shudder 10th Anniversary 10-Film Collector’s Edition is $51 (was $120). Both collections launch November 11, which happens to be the same day the reprint of Friday the 13th 8-Film Steelbook Collection arrives. If you want a Friday the 13th Blu-ray box set, your best bet is to preorder the 8-Film Steelbook Collection for $38.

Unsurprisingly, there’s a backlog of orders, so Amazon doesn’t expect to ship new orders until mid-November; you can get it before Halloween by purchasing from Gruv (via Amazon) for $25. Side note: It’s worth mentioning that Full Metal Jacket’s new Limited Edition Steelbook is discounted to only $18.87 (was $33).

As mentioned, you can get all seven original Nightmare on Elm Street movies for $17 on Blu-ray, but the collection released on 4K Blu-ray at the end of September. Amazon has the Elm Street 7-Film Collection on 4K Blu-ray for $90.40 (was $105).

Many of the Limited Edition Steelbooks on sale are part of Shout Factory’s catalog, including Sam Raimi’s Army of Darkness for $22, Pumpkinhead for $18, and The Return of the Living Dead for $29.66. Several of the 4K Steelbooks on this list are only discounted by four or five bucks, but those are recent releases that hadn’t budged from full price until now, including John Carpenter’s Prince of Darkness and Ghost of Mars.

One of the best deals is on Late Night with the Devil. The Steelbook Edition received a reprint in August and is currently discounted to only $20.39 (was $40). There are a few non-steelbooks on the list below, including the original Friday the 13th, with is only $15, and The Dark Crystal Collector’s Edition–though there is a discounted Dark Crystal Steelbook Edition, too.

For movie box sets on Blu-ray, check out King of Horror: 8-Film Collection Expanded Edition while it’s discounted to $35.49 (was $60). There are a lot of Stephen King DVD collections, but our favorites are the Stephen King Movies & TV Collection for $11.62 and the Stephen King 6-Film Collection for $12.29. The former includes The Stand, The Langoliers, Golden Years, The Dead Zone, Pet Sematary, Silver Bullet, and Graveyard Shift. The Kubrick 3-Film Collection is once again our favorite Stephen King 4K Blu-ray deal, but there are a few Limited Edition Steelbooks that should be on your radar. The original 1976 film adaptation of Carrie is available for only $23 (was $40). You can also get the awesome Steelbook Edition of Creepshow for this price. In June, Amazon released an exclusive Steelbook Edition of The Dead Zone. Up until now, the collectible edition of the 1983 supernatural horror film hadn’t budged from $45. Like the recently released John Carpenter-directed movies, The Dead Zone Steelbook Edition is only on sale for 10% off.

It doesn’t come with a steelbook case, but Silver Bullet: Collector’s Edition is on sale for only $16.79 (was $40), which is the lowest price ever–and this one launched back in December 2023.
