Shane O’Donnell intends to play for Clare in 2026 on the back of a frustrating summer when he missed the bulk of their unsuccessful Munster SHC campaign after shoulder surgery.

The 31-year-old has also put his longstanding plans of moving to America on the back burner, with a future in Australia on the cards instead for the two-time All-Ireland winner this time next year.
