Ezee Fiber, a 100% fiber-optic internet provider, has officially connected its first customer in Kent, marking the company’s entry into the Puget Sound market.

The connection is the beginning of a $400 million investment to deliver ultra-fast, reliable internet to homes and businesses across Washington, a release said.

“We’re thrilled to light up our very first customer in Kent and officially become part of the Puget Sound community,” said Ezee Fiber Senior Vice President and General Manager Eddie Abreu in the release. “Washington state represents a vibrant, forward-thinking region that deserves internet infrastructure built for the future. We’ve been warmly welcomed by residential communities and local government partners alike, and are eager to be part of the fabric of the communities we serve.”

Ezee Fiber’s “fiber-to-the-home” network delivers symmetrical multigig speeds of up to 8 Gbps, with no data caps, term contracts, or hidden fees, the release said, adding that the company emphasizes transparency, local hiring, and customer-focused service through a locally based support team.

The Washington expansion is part of Ezee Fiber’s broader mission to close the digital divide and bring next-generation connectivity to neighborhoods across the region. Construction is underway in several Puget Sound cities, with additional launches planned for early 2026.
