Alanna O’Donnell from Convoy has been named Outstanding Undergraduate of the Year at the Northern Ireland Advancing Healthcare Awards 2025.
The awards ceremony took place last night at the Stormont Hotel in Belfast.
Alanna recently graduated with an honours degree in Diagnostic Radiography from Ulster University’s Magee campus in Derry in June this year.
She was recognised for her exceptional commitment and performance throughout her studies, along with the positive impact she has made during clinical placements.
The Advancing Healthcare Awards Northern Ireland programme is a vital opportunity to recognise and celebrate the important and innovative work of healthcare scientists, allied health professionals and those working alongside them.
The ceremony was attended by over 300 guests and hosted by Tara Mills, BBC Northern Ireland presenter. The guest speaker was Mike Nesbitt, Minister of Health, Northern Ireland.
