Restaurateurs have said now is the time for Ireland to receive its “elusive” third Michelin star, as the prestigious awards will be held in Dublin next year.

Ross Lewis, co-owner of Chapter One restaurant in Dublin, said “the page of history” on Ireland’s three-Michelin-star award-winners is “blank” and “it shouldn’t be.”
