Unlike the mediocre cooling of the 25U, the 1+13 has quite good cooling. So the Ultra has heavy throttling, which limits the power and consumption of the phone, while the 1+ runs for a longer time at higher frequencies and consumption.

Anonymous, 1 hour agoOneplus 13 last only 15 mins longer with 1000 mAh more. They need to optimizeI assume you are talking about the active score. If you dig deeper into the individual scores, you will see that OnePlus lasts 3.5 hours more in web browsing, more than 4 hours in video playback. The overall numbers are “low” because the gaming results were terrible which I heard was fixed later via updates.

You always need to look at the individual figures as the overall rating can be manipulated easily.

Talk about a huge missed opportunity for Ace 6, as it still has a USB-C 2.0 port despite having the “Extreme Edition” of Snapdragon 8 Elite. ☠️☠️

I bet oneplus 15 will be priced much much higher than vat difference between Europe and China, like 899+ euros. Instead of like 649-699 euros as should.

PureOS, 1 hour agoLook at this prices. China is best market for smartphones definitely. And, still, there are ma… moreiphones are easy to use in China because they can be used pretty much the same as in other countries. For androids each brand has to have their own mobile services and app stores which don’t support many apps. All the normal google services have to be replaced by each company’s own replacements or a third party Chinese app store as the Google app store can’t be used in China without a vpn. When you use a VPN it akso slows down the internet a lot and isn’t always reliable. Therefore iPhones are quite convenient and for people that just want everything to work without messing around they are a good option

Oppo’s influence on these downgrades is so clear when you look at the whole lineup. Two years ago the OnePlus 12 was basically a Find X7 Pro in all but name when Oppo used to have only two flagships. Last year the OnePlus 13 was actually better than the Find X8 Pro overall and for a lower price.

This time they want to distance things as much as possible but if the global pricing is lower than last year I think this will still compare favourably to Apple, Samsung, and Google’s base flagships in particular.
