Man charged over alleged assault on president-elect Catherine Connolly canvasser leaves court
A man accused of assaulting a woman canvassing for president-elect Catherine Connolly in Dublin replied “complete lies” when the charge was put to him.
Daniel Soave (39) was this morning granted bail but ordered to stay away from campaigners and the injured party after being charged with assault and public order offences.
