The Dock84 cafe and bakery in Donegal Town has closed its doors for the final time.
Owned by the O’Hehir family, the business opened on the Diamond in July 2024 as Dock84’s first venture outside Sligo Town.
The restaurant featured the full range of O’Hehir’s bakery products, along with a selection of custom cakes.
“We’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful customers in Donegal Town for your loyalty and support,” said a closure notice today.
“Dock84 / O’Hehirs Bakery Donegal Town is now closed, but this isn’t goodbye! You can still order your favourite occasion cakes for collection from our Ballybofey and Letterkenny shops.
“We’re so grateful for the memories and look forward to welcoming you soon in our other locations.”
Dock 84 is the second cafe in Donegal Town to close this month.
Five Fifty in the Donegal Business Park also announced it will cease trading at the end of October. The cafe was opened in October 2024 by young local businesswoman Ella McMahon.
