Motorists in Broadford are advised of upcoming four day road closures next week to allow for essential works linked to a new housing development in the area.
Limerick City and County Council has confirmed that Cluain Dara (L-7019-329) in Broadford will be closed to traffic from Tuesday, October 28 to Friday, October 31, 2025.
The closure is required to facilitate a wastewater connection to the new housing scheme currently under development in the village.
During the works, diversions will be in place via the R515 Main Street, Broadford, connecting to the L-7017 and L-7018 routes through Farrihy. The council has said that local access will be maintained for residents and that all diversions will be clearly signposted.
