Aidan O’Brien has proclaimed Precise to be as talented as any filly as he has ever trained, but said a wicked draw out in stall 13 has added an “extra dimension” to her task in Friday’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf as the Ballydoyle trainer tries to smash his own world record at Del Mar this week.

The draw gods have been anything but kind to O’Brien’s powerful army, as not only has Precise drawn the outside stall, but so, too, has Gstaad as the Coventry Stakes winner will come out of stall 14 of 14 in the Juvenile Turf which closes Friday’s card.

A Group 1 juvenile hat-trick over the weekend has seen O’Brien soar to 25 top-level triumphs in 2025, and he now just needs four more to break his own record of 28, which was set in 2017.
