Gardaí have reopened a section of Dame Street in Dublin’s south city centre which was closed following an early-morning collision.
The incident, which reportedly involved a bin lorry, took place at about 1.45am.
A section of Dame Street between Parliament Street and South Great George’s Street was closed and local diversions were in place.

Gardaí had asked road users to take alternative routes if possible.
