TOKYO — Chemical maker Asahi Kasei is accelerating its production ramp-up of an insulating material used in cutting-edge semiconductor products like graphical processing units, spending 16 billion yen ($108 million) on domestic facilities with the aim of doubling output by fiscal 2030.
