Billie Eilish is one of those celebrities who only appears when it really matters, and the WSJ. Magazine 2025 Innovator Awards was one of those occasions as she accepted the Music Innovator Award.

While she spent a good few years as a Gucci loyalist, it seems the creative-director reshuffle has sparked some sartorial exploration, and her latest stop is Miu Miu.
Her look from the Spring 2026 collection could easily be described as “dark academia meets head girl energy.” The navy blazer, pleated skirt, grey jumper and patterned scarf felt preppy yet brooding — like she’s the most stylish student at a gothic boarding school where everyone secretly listens to The Cure.
It’s giving British prep school, it’s giving literature student, it’s giving main character energy in the library at midnight. And yes, even the sock garters somehow work — they add a hint of eccentricity.
Mostly, I’m into this because it’s a refreshing pivot from her oversized logo-heavy Gucci era. She looks comfortable, expressive, and a little mischievous. And considering Miu Miu’s Spring 2026 collection also included apron looks, I’d say she chose wisely.
