Combination of senior and ‘XV’ squads give us an insight into plans

On Saturday, 46 players will represent Ireland across two fixtures being held in Dublin and Madrid.
Injured regulars Hugo Keenan, Joe McCarthy, Garry Ringrose and Stuart McCloskey will not be among those lining out at the Aviva Stadium, nor will Edwin Edogbo and Brian Gleeson who were initially called up to the senior squad as cover and were expected to be involved with the ‘XV’ side taking on Spain before they got injured.
