Francis Kenneally taking up the role of Coaching Officer is the sole change to the Cork GAA executive for 2026.
Following the close of nominations for officerships, the former PRO succeeding Ronan Dwane is the one change to the Cork executive line-up ahead of 2026.
Dwane had reached his five-year term-limit in the position, and in the absence of a contest, Kanturk clubman Kenneally has been elected to the role unopposed.
Chairperson Pat Horgan, meanwhile, is entering the final lap of his three-year reign as chairman.
The following positions are to be appointed at the next county committee meeting: Children’s Officer, Planning & Training Officer, Safety & Facilities Officer, Demographics Officer, Digital Communications Lead, IT Officer, Sustainability Officer, Rebel Óg Chairperson, County Referee’s Administrator, and Fixtures Analyst.
The Children’s Officer, Planning & Training Officer, and Safety & Facilities Officer all sit on the executive.
The next Cork County Board meeting on November 18 will approve motions for annual convention on Tuesday, December 9. The 2026 county championship draws will take place the same night as convention.
