A retired professional footballer from Wexford who played for Manchester City, before joining the family retail business, is celebrating after winning big at a national awards ceremony.
At the 2025 XL Retailer Awards, hosted in Calpe, Spain, two Wexford stores were honoured. Paul Murphy of XL Kilmore won Best Neighbourhood Newcomer, while Noel Doyle’s XL Store in Wexford Town took home the award for Best-Food-To-Go.
