After a wait of nearly a year, it is finally time to witness the hit Broadway musical Wicked: For Good. The follow-up to 2024’s Wicked will mark the return of pop sorceress Ariana Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, reprising their musical roles.
How the film will be received by audiences remains to be seen, but for now, Grande has shared one particularly unforgettable memory from the sets of Wicked: For Good.

In conversation with TODAY about the film, Grande described her favourite on-set memory, and honestly, if there ever were a hallmark for powerful kinship, this would be it.
“I’ll never forget when you yelled ‘WHAT!’ in a middle of a take when we were filming the second movie,” Grande told Erivo, who was also present during the interview. “’Cause she likes something that I did vocally, and I was like, ‘This is the best day of my life.’ It was really funny; that was a good one.”
To which Erivo replied, “I don’t know how to contain it. If she does something I really like, I verbally have to express myself.” Grande then confessed, “It was the best moment of my life.”
Wicked: For Good is slated to hit theaters on November 21, 2025.
