A US-based Irish-American online news outlet has agreed to pay €20,000 to conservative website Gript and its editor John McGuirk to settle defamation proceedings.
Mr McGuirk and Gript Media sued Irish Studio LLC, owners of the Irish Central website, over an article which identified him as “far right”.
