Mary Jane (Mai) Redican (née McGoey) passed away peacefully on Friday, 14th November 2025, in the wonderful care of the staff at Ballinamore Community Nursing Unit, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her devoted husband, Seamus; parents, Patrick & Catherine; and brother, P.J. McGoey. Sadly missed by her loving family: Sharon (Ted), Adrian, Shane (Anne), Damien, Kathrina (Michael) & Ciarán; brother, Matt; grandchildren, Gavin, Steven, Eimear, Saoirse, Cormac, Aisling, Róise, Caoimhe, Ruaidhrí, Áine, Aoife & Cian; great-grandson, Tadhg; brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Smith’s Funeral Home, High St., Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim, N41 TD62, this Saturday afternoon (November 15th) from 4pm until 6pm. Removal from her home in Drumroosk North, on Sunday morning to arrive for Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Foxfield (N41 RC99), at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Fenagh Abbey cemetery.
(Due to time constraints there will be no sympathising in the church after the Funeral Mass).
House open to family, neighbours and close friends on Saturday evening following the reposing.
