A co-founder of the Blackrock Clinic private hospital and his wife have filed for bankruptcy, listing debts of around €14.5m.
A joint petition has been filed by Dr Joe Sheehan (80) and Norah Sheehan (77) with a bankruptcy court in the US state of Florida, where they say they are now based.
