Simon Jordan is a bit like marmite to the vast majority of Celtic supporters. They either love him, or hate him.
The talkSPORT pundit often cuts to the bone whenever Jordan talks about Celtic and Scottish football.
Jordan was asked his thoughts about former Rangers boss Philippe Clement taking over at Norwich City today.
And in giving his opinion, Jordan strangely used two former Celtic managers as an example of how the SPFL standard is the same as the English Championship.

Scottish football fans and Celtic have had to put up with all sorts of nonsense being spoken about the standard of the Parkhead club and Scottish football.
And now, with Jordan, they have to listen to more of it.
Jordan said on talkSPORT, “Well, perhaps it tells you that Scottish football is not far too far detached from the Championship level in people’s minds.
“You’re not going to get many times that you’re going to see a manager, you’ve seen two of them both of them come from Celtic to go into the Premier League.
“Being Brendan Rodgers going back to the Premier League with Leicester and, of course, Ange Postecoglou going from Celtic to Tottenham.”
Very strange comment indeed from Jordan. So if the SPFL is Championship standard, how then have two former Celtic managers made the move to the Premier League?
How Ange Postecoglou and Brendan Rodgers did after leaving Celtic for the Premier League
The first of the two to move was, of course, Brendan Rodgers who won an FA Cup and a Community Shield during his time at Leicester.
Rodgers also took The Foxes to two top-five finishes in his first two seasons as the club, before finishing 8th in 2022 before he was sacked in 2023 leaving Leicester in the relegation zone.
Postecoglou’s Premier League career started off on the same kind-of trajectory as Rodgers. A 5th-place finish in his first season was hailed as a success for the former Celtic man.
However, despite winning the Europa League, Spurs sacked Postecoglou as his poor domestic form left the London club rooted 17th in the league table.
