More than two years after the first had a chokehold on Netflix viewers, Cailee Spaeny recently teased what’s in store for the sophomore season of Beef.

At Monday’s premiere of Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, the Golden Globe-nominated actress revealed that she has completed filming on Season 2 of Lee Sung Jin‘s dark comedy-drama anthology series, which she said is “as batsh*t as the first one.”

“What’s fun about this one, is that it’s beef between couples and different generations,” said Spaeny.

She noted that the second season features a “great cast” after she was added to the ensemble alongside Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan and Charles Melton last October.

As Deadline reported at the time, Season 2 of Beef follows a young couple as they witness an alarming fight between their boss and his wife, triggering chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner.

Inspired by Lee’s personal experience with a road rage incident, Season 1 starred Steven Yeun and Ali Wong as two strangers whose lives collide in a strange way after they’re involved in a traffic incident of their own. The debut season was a critical success, earning four Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, and three Golden Globes, including Best Limited or Anthology Series or Television Film.
