Derry mother (47) was killed in ‘freak accident’ after wheel fell off lorry, inquest hears

An inquest has heard how the partner of a Derry woman who died instantly in a “freak, tragic” road traffic accident is forced to relive the crash every week while passing the scene on his way to work.
The inquest into the death of Shauna McDevitt also heard how her young son, who was in the car at the time of the crash, asked after the accident: “How can the best day of my life turn into the worst day of my life?”
