A child with clamps around her tiny calves, another sitting sideways in her chair because of her curved spine, young men in wheelchairs, flanked by parents, relatives and friends — they were among an army of families who thronged Dublin yesterday to demand “Justice for Harvey”.

An estimated 1,000 people, including children with spina bifida and scoliosis, marched from the Garden of Remembrance, down O’Connell Street to the Customs House, in memory of the nine-year-old boy with spina bifida and scoliosis who died last month.
