Troy Parrott’s heroics with the Republic of Ireland have sparked plenty of rumours about his future at AZ Alkmaar, but the Dubliner is in no rush to leave the Dutch club, the Irish Independent understands.

Parrott’s five goals in Ireland’s wins against Portugal and Hungary fired Heimir Hallgrimsson’s side into the World Cup play-offs, with a semi-final tie against Czechia inked into the diary for March 26.
