8% of people live in very low work intensity households – News articles

In 2024, 7.9% of people younger than 65 in the EU lived in households with very low work intensity. 

The highest share of people living in households with very low work intensity was recorded in Belgium (11.4%), followed by Denmark (10.6%) and Germany (10.0%). In contrast, the lowest shares were recorded in Slovenia (3.5%), Luxembourg (3.9%) and Poland (4.1%).
