Gardai are set to search a major river – amid fears this missing boy fell into its waters.
The Irish Mirror has learned that officers probing the week-long disappearance of Benjamin Spot, who is just 14, are increasingly worried for his safety.
And sources have told us investigators now suspect he fell into the River Boyne in Navan, Co Meath last Wednesday – the day he was last seen.
“There are serious concerns for the boy,” a source told The Irish Mirror.
Benjamin disappeared after he was cycling in the Ramparts/Kentstown Road area of Navan last Wednesday, November 19, at around 5.55pm.
His bicycle was subsequently found at the Ramparts early the following day.

But sources have now told us gardai believe the bike was taken from the river and placed at the scene.
They stressed, however, that whoever did that did not realise it belonged to the missing boy and thought he or she was doing a good turn by recovering a child’s bike from the water.
The case is still being treated as a missing person’s case and is being managed by the Meath Garda division’s community engagement team, but an incident room has now been set up.
The community engagement team is being assisted by the local crime team – but sources stressed that did not mean any criminality was suspected.
Other units are set to be brought in, including divers from the Garda water Unit.
News of the Garda’s belief that Benjamin fell into the river came as the force issued another appeal for help in finding him.
