The heartthrob was performing his set during Saturday’s concert labelled “The Biggest 90’s & 00’s Festival in Ireland”.
Videos, which have been circulated on social media, show the scrum of fans dancing around Peter Andre in the home of Limerick GAA.
The singer took it all in his stride, giving the mic to a woman to sing a line of the song and dancing with another. A co-performer spreads his hands at one stage to try to hold back the fans and give Peter Andre some breathing space.
One woman took a selfie with the ex-husband of Jordan, who he met on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
A man speaks into Peter Andre’s ear while he is singing. “One minute, buddy, one minute,” says Peter Andre politely before quipping, “He looks like he’s a mysterious guy”.
The conclusion of the number one hit song in 1995, made famous by the waterfall scene in the accompanying video, was warmly applauded by concert-goers.
UB40 featuring Ali Campbell and special guest Damien Dempsey will perform in the TUS Gaelic Grounds this Sunday.
