Health and social care regulator Hiqa is to make an application to the High Court to get access to over 100 hours of footage secretly filmed as part of an exposé on the treatment of residents at two nursing homes.
Legal proceedings have been initiated by the chief inspector of social services against RTÉ to secure video shot at Beneavin Manor in Dublin and The Residence in Portlaoise, Co Laois.
