Kaley Cuoco is ready to add something new to her work-life balance!
The Big Bang Theory alum, 39, revealed to PEOPLE that she and her fiancé, fellow actor Tom Pelphrey, “would love to find” a project to work on together in the future.
“We’re actually actively searching. It has to be the right one,” she said while at an Oh Norman! adoption event with The Amanda Foundation in Los Angeles, on Friday, Nov. 7. “It has to be special, but 100%. There’s no one I’d rather work with than Tom.”
She adds, “In fact, I’m jealous of everyone that gets to work with him because he’s the best.”

Pelphrey — the 43-year-old Task star, who shares 2-year-old daughter Matilda with Cuoco, previously told PEOPLE in September that the pair were “interested” in teaming up but that it has “to be the right thing.”
He also noted that his partner “tends to live more comedically,” while joking that “people don’t let me within 10 feet of a comedy.”
As for what Cuoco thinks of his assessment, she tells PEOPLE: “He’s worried I want us to do some sort of comedy. I said, ‘Can we find something in the middle? How about a dark [comedy]?’ He said, ‘Okay, yeah, that would work.’ Also, he’s so funny and he doesn’t realize.”
Pelphrey previously shared that while he and Cuoco “do the same thing,” they agree that it “feels like we have different jobs.”
“The approach is so different, it feels like we’re talking about two different things,” Pelphrey said in the exclusive PEOPLE in 10 interview.
“Figuring out how those different things can come together and what the right, like, vehicle for that would be … we’re definitely interested in doing it, but so far we haven’t found what we felt like was the right thing,” he added.

The pair got engaged in August 2024, over a year after they welcomed their first child, daughter Matilda. When asked to describe his life now back in September, Pelphrey had one word in mind: heaven.
“There’s challenges, but if you would’ve told me 15 years ago that I could be with the love of my life and have the most perfect baby and get to do what I love, it’s wild,” he said. “You’re living your dream. And I’m very conscious of that.”
