Victoria Beckham is the wealthiest WAG in the world and boasts her own fortune independently from Manchester United legend Sir David. The ex-Spice Girls sensation commands a net worth of £500 million, according to the 2025 Sunday Times Rich List, a figure that is supplemented by her husband’s earnings from his football career and subsequent club ownership ventures.
This impressive wealth has been accumulated through multiple avenues, including a fashion empire, shareholdings in football clubs such as Inter Miami and Salford City, alongside various other business endeavours. Victoria enjoyed her own celebrity status prior to encountering her future husband, tying the knot in 1999 when David was an emerging talent at United.
The Spice Girls ranked among the world’s most sensational girl groups during that era, with the WAG generating substantial income through music royalties and publishing agreements.
The 51-year-old subsequently launched her own fashion and beauty empire, though success didn’t materialise immediately.
Indeed, the WAG disclosed in the revealing documentary Beckham that following losses of £66m, husband David declined to pump additional funds into her brand until fortunes reversed.
Victoria revealed: “I almost lost everything and that was a dark, dark time. I used to cry before I went to work every day because I felt like a firefighter.
“We were tens of millions in the red. Yes, I’m going home to my husband, but I’m also going home to my business partner. And so I would talk to him about it. I had to. He was invested. And I hated it. I absolutely hated it.”
Reflecting on his wife’s initial financial struggles, David revealed: “She was a lot richer than me. She actually bought our first house in Hertfordshire, known as Beckingham Palace.
“So for her to have to come to me and say, ‘Can I have some – we need some more money. The business needs more money,’ that was hard for both of us because I didn’t have the money to keep doing this, and eventually I was like, ‘This cannot continue.'”
Since then, the power couple has only grown stronger and continues to be the golden couple of the football world.
Recently, the former Manchester United star was bestowed with a knighthood for his contributions to sport and charity, with Victoria proudly by his side.
Expressing his pride, Sir David stated: “I couldn’t be prouder. People know how patriotic I am – I love my country. I’ve always said how important the monarchy is to my family.
“I’m lucky enough to have travelled around the world and all people want to talk to me about is our monarchy. It makes me proud.”
