Nicole Kidman ditched her red carpet glam as she gave fans an intimate look at her Thanksgiving traditions this year. On Friday, the Babygirl actress went makeup-free as she posed with her two lookalike daughters Sunday and Faith in a heartwarming family photo in Nashville. Kidman also shared a rare comment about her mindset going into the holidays amid her split from Keith Urban.
The Practical Magic star, who filed for divorce from the “Blue Ain’t Your Color” singer on September 30, showed off her sporty side for a Nashville turkey trot with extended family. In a photo shared on her Instagram Story on November 28, a beaming Kidman showed off her fresh-faced complexion as she stopped for a group photo with her sister Antonia Kidman as well as her two mini-me teen daughters. The Big Little Lies alum wore her natural strawberry red curls tucked under a navy blue beanie and shielded her eyes from the sun with a pair of black sunglasses. She bundled up for the run in a chic athleisure look with black leggings, a cream quilted jacket, and white running sneakers with gray socks. Kidman wore her jacket open to show off her matching Boulevard Bolt race shirt, which twinned with everyone else in the 13-person group.

“So thankful…xx,” she commented. Meanwhile, her daughters Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14—whom Kidman shares with Urban—could be seen with their arms wrapped around each other. The burgeoning model emulated her mom’s iconic ‘90s hair color by wearing her dark auburn hair in a sleek side-parted ponytail, showing off a black quilted coat and black sweatpants. Meanwhile, Faith opted for a black cozy vest as she wore her brown hair in a middle-parted style for the race.

Kidman recently opened up about how differently her daughters have handled fame at a young age compared to how she did when she broke through in Hollywood at just 22. “Well, you’re very young, and then suddenly you’re put into this fishbowl and everything is dissected,” she reflected while interviewing Ariana Grande for Interview magazine.

“It starts to get very, very difficult, and then you overthink it and then you get scared and then you get hurt, and then you go, ‘Now I don’t want to go out. I don’t want to venture into this world.’ I get it,” Kidman added. “It’s just a constant push-pull. But I think that exists for everyone. I’m raising teenage girls right now, and it’s fascinating. I think they have an armor that we didn’t get. Or that I certainly didn’t get, because there was no social media. The very, very young now have already gone, ‘We know exactly how to handle this.’ They don’t take a lot of things personally. They shrug it off.”
