Long after the Thomond Park crowd had cleared on Saturday night, the Stormers gathered on the famous turf for a photograph to celebrate their first win at what their coach John Dobson described as a “mythical” rugby venue.

Saturday night’s victory is one that the South African’s savoured as they came from 21-6 down at half-time, rolling on six forwards and overpowering Munster to score 21 unanswered points with their scrum utterly in command.
