There are times in life when the most important thing to do is switch off from everything and walk away. And in May of this year I did just that and headed off on the Camino for 38 days straight. I walked from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port in France over to Santiago in northern Spain.
It was exactly what I needed after several physically and emotionally testing years.
