Could Bear finally be saved?

Emmerdale viewers felt “torn” over reveal as a huge discovery was made in Bear Wolf’s horrific story.
Over the last few months, viewers were concerned over Bear Wolf’s whereabouts after he told Paddy Kirk he was visiting Ireland to see some old friends.
His disappearance came after there was a shift in his behaviour. Bear admitted to Liam Cavanagh that he was struggling with insomnia, he was becoming increasingly irritable and felt isolated.
After months of him being unseen, it was finally revealed in a standalone episode that he was trapped in the horrific world of modern slavery.
Unfortunately, Bear has been worked to the bone on Celia’s farmland, with many others also being trafficked and treated in an abysmal way.
Trapped in appalling conditions, Bear befriended Anya – a woman who Ruby took in briefly after she was found at the Depot. She sadly died, and Bear was instructed by Celia to dig her grave.
There was a small glimmer of hope when Eve, Bear’s granddaughter saw him in the field – yet sadly, no one believed her.
However, things could be changing for Bear as during Tuesday’s (December 2) installment, Dylan Penders made a discovery.
Dylan has been working for Ray and Celia in their drug business, but Celia has her eyes set on more for Dylan. After instructing him to attack Robbie who she believed called the police to the Depot last week, he refused.
However, Celia decided to show him the work they do on the farm, informing him that she gives the slaves opportunities to leave but none of them do.
Making it seem that she runs a scheme to help homeless people, she told Dylan she’d love him to take on a role similar to that of Ray.

However, later on Dylan noticed Bear and called his name, While Bear never met Dylan as he’d already moved out when he arrived in the village, could this be his saving grace?
On X (formerly known as Twitter), @jeffers__7 wrote: “Dylan finally using his brain, please just help Bear!!!” as @princessmel_87 added: “About blumming time they found him, now lets hope Bear realises the truth and where he actually is”.
@raq91x felt conflicted, and penned: “Celia has me so torn, like I NEED her to die because she is evil & deserves her comeuppance but unfortunately I thoroughly enjoy her on my screen.”
Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
